Job description

SENIOR ASSOCIATE, EXECUTIVE COMMUNICATIONS

Reports to Associate Director, Executive Communications

THE OPPORTUNITY

Manhattan Strategies is seeking a Senior Associate for Executive Communications to support our client executives across technology, finance and pharma with a focus on LinkedIn and other social platforms, keynote speeches, byline articles, executive blogs and other speaking and thought leadership vehicles. This person will serve as a trusted partner to client executives and internal teams, helping develop compelling narratives, amplify executive profiles and deploy strategic communications programs that align with business goals and market positioning.

THE FIRM

Manhattan Strategies is an award-winning design-forward consulting firm specializing in crafting powerful visual narratives for leading and emerging brands. Manhattan Strategies was founded on a simple hypothesis: if you communicate visually, you maximize your power to compel action. We combine an attentive communications agency with a boldly ambitious design studio, and the combination is what makes us different.

We've been recognized by ADWEEK among the fastest-growing agencies and by Inc Magazine as one of the fastest-growing companies in America. We've won dozens of awards across design, branding, web development and video production. The team is sharp, collaborative and genuinely passionate about making things that look and work great.

The selected candidate will work closely with client and internal teams to plan and execute executive communications programs that support broader business goals.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
  • Executive Support: Support senior and C-suite client executives in the technology, financial services and other industries, ensuring their communications programs on LinkedIn, keynote speeches, bylines, blogs, panels and other channels are high-quality, on-message, and strategically aligned.
  • Content Production: Own production of executive communications deliverables: drafting, revising and polishing LinkedIn posts, speeches/talk tracks, byline articles, op-eds, executive blogs, presentation decks, speaker Q&A preparation, etc.

  • Strategic Counsel: Provide strategic counsel to client executives on how to shape and optimize their personal/employer brand presence across channels.
  • Performance Analysis: Monitor and analyze performance of executive content (engagement, reach, earned media, speaking opportunities) and provide insights and recommendations for improvement.
  • Research & Insights: Conduct research on industry trends, competitive executive profiles (in tech, finance, pharma) and audience sentiment to inform executive narratives.

  • Are comfortable managing multiple executives, workstreams and deadlines at once without losing quality

  • Proficient in working across teams (social media, design, strategy, analytics) and managing multiple stakeholders
  • Strong research and analytical skills: tracking executive brand metrics, understanding competitive positioning and mapping thought leadership landscapes
  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism or related field required; Master's degree a plus
