Job description

THE OPPORTUNITY

Manhattan Strategies is seeking a Senior Associate, Digital Media to join our growing team. The best-fit candidate has hands-on experience running paid media campaigns across multiple platforms, with a strong grasp of campaign architecture, performance optimization, and measurement fundamentals. In partnership with senior team members, this role will contribute to analytics and reporting workflows that drive results for clients.

You are an operator who thrives at the intersection of media and data. You're equally comfortable inside a buying platform and a reporting dashboard, and you communicate clearly about performance. Given the always-on nature of paid media and reporting, this role requires flexibility and responsiveness outside of standard hours when client needs arise.

THE FIRM

Manhattan Strategies is an award-winning design-forward consulting firm specializing in crafting powerful visual narratives for leading and emerging brands. Manhattan Strategies was founded on a simple hypothesis: if you communicate visually, you maximize your power to compel action. We combine an attentive communications agency with a boldly ambitious design studio, and the combination is what makes us different.

We've been recognized by ADWEEK among the fastest-growing agencies and by Inc Magazine as one of the fastest-growing companies in America. We've won dozens of awards across design, branding, web development and video production. The team is sharp, collaborative and genuinely passionate about making things that look and work great.

THE ROLE

This is a full-time hybrid role based in New York, NY. The Senior Associate, Digital Media will play a key role in planning, executing, and optimizing paid media campaigns across platforms while building the analytics and reporting infrastructure that connects performance to client outcomes. Responsibilities include campaign management across paid social and programmatic channels, building reporting dashboards, and presenting performance insights directly to clients. The selected candidate will collaborate closely with senior team members and mentor junior staff to ensure consistent, high-quality work across accounts.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
  • Social Media Strategy: Collaborate with clients and associates to bridge organic social and paid media, maximizing success for clients across a range of industries.
  • Campaign Management: Plan, build, and optimize paid media campaigns across platforms (Meta, TikTok, X, Reddit, Google, programmatic, and others), ensuring strong performance against client KPIs.
  • Analytics & Reporting: Build and maintain reporting dashboards and performance summaries that connect campaign activity to business outcomes. Support the development of measurement frameworks under senior guidance.
  • Client Support: Prepare and present performance updates, campaign recommendations, and strategic insights for client-facing meetings.
  • Platform Expertise: Stay current on platform capabilities, ad products, and best practices; bring new ideas and test-and-learn thinking to campaigns.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with team members to execute integrated plans and share learnings across accounts.
  • Junior Team Support: Provide day-to-day guidance to junior staff and help review work product to maintain quality standards.
WHO YOU ARE

This opportunity is ideal for you if you:

  • Are fluent in media buying platforms and comfortable pulling insights from analytics tools
  • Think critically about campaign performance and connect data to clear recommendations
  • Take ownership of your work, you follow through, flag issues early, and deliver on time
  • Communicate clearly about performance data with both internal teams and clients
  • Are curious and experimental, you test, learn, and bring new ideas to platforms and measurement approaches
  • Can manage multiple campaigns and deadlines without losing attention to detail
  • Are ready to grow into a more strategic, client-facing role and eager to develop that muscle
YOUR EXPERIENCE
  • 5+ years of experience in digital and paid media, performance marketing, or a related discipline; agency experience strongly preferred
  • Experience with analytics and reporting tools (GA4, Looker, Tableau, or equivalents)
  • Familiarity with attribution methodologies, A/B testing, and full-funnel measurement
  • Strong analytical and communication skills with the ability to translate data into clear narratives
  • Collaborative, proactive, and comfortable in a fast-paced, high-accountability environment
  • Bachelor's degree preferred, but not required with relevant experience

  • Open, collaborative office space designed for both collaboration and focused work
  • Leadership that is accessible and invested in your growth
