Job summary

AbbVie is seeking an Oncology Market Access Marketing Associate Director. The role leads payer-strategy activities, integrating insights into strategic decisions and ensuring access for brand launches.

You will collaborate across Market Access, Brand, Finance, and Medical Affairs to build evidence and operational readiness for sustained performance. You will monitor payer policies, drive reporting, and lead cross-functional forums to address access challenges, while shaping channel strategies

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required to enable business acumen and financial analysis.
• Demonstrated ability to understand clinical aspects of a pharmaceutical product and its application to marketing strategy.
• 5–7 years of marketing or market access experience.
• Experience supporting HCP-administered assets.
• Knowledge of Commercial and Medicare FFS aspects of medical benefit and utilization management.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the payer policy landscape and produce regular policy updates and communications.
• Track account activation and launch-readiness metrics; synthesize field insights and report to leadership.
• Represent Market Access in cross-functional governance forums to ensure access realities inform decisions.
• Lead a recurring cross-functional access forum to identify and resolve access challenges.
• Support development of channel-specific strategies with brand and market access leadership.
• Plan and execute advisory boards to generate insights for future market access strategy.
