Job summary

BioMarin Pharmaceutical Inc. in the United States seeks an Associate Director, Government Pricing to lead compliance with U.S. government pricing regulations and shape pricing strategy across the organization.

You will serve as a subject‑matter expert and advise cross‑functional partners on downstream impacts of commercial decisions on pricing metrics. The ideal candidate brings 10+ years in pricing/finance within pharma, deep government pricing expertise, and a proven ability to drive process

Qualifications

Analytical thinker with ability to translate data into business impact.
Experience communicating complex analyses to senior executives.
Understanding of government pricing concepts and market dynamics.

Responsibilities

Lead government pricing calculations, submissions, and compliance (AMP, ASP, Best Price, PHS, VA).
Guide regulatory alignment of government contracting processes and pricing decisions.
Provide strategic pricing guidance for commercial contracts and rebates with stakeholders.
Manage third-party vendor relationships supporting Medicaid, TRICARE, and Medicare processes.
Partner with audit teams to complete SOX and related controls.
