Job summary

Lilly is constructing a cutting-edge LP2 facility in Lebanon, Indiana for gene therapy manufacturing. The role leads QC site strategy, startup operations, and external partner oversight to ensure safe, compliant testing across products.

A strong quality culture and cross-functional collaboration are key as the team grows. The position requires 8+ years in cGMP manufacturing and direct QC leadership, with a BS in a life science.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of cGMP commercial manufacturing experience in QC or related disciplines.
• 8+ years of direct laboratory leadership and supervision of QC personnel.

Responsibilities

• Set site QC strategy for internal and external laboratory operations, ensuring capability to receipt, test, and release samples.
• Support strategic siting, resourcing, and equipment decisions for the QC organization with site/global leadership.
• Provide laboratory leadership for LP2 QC's start-up and ongoing operations, managing daily workload and compliance.
• Oversee laboratory testing by external partners, ensuring quality oversight and regulatory alignment.
• Monitor adherence to procedures and regulatory commitments; lead inspections readiness and audits.
• Mentor QC personnel to build a strong quality culture and cross-functional collaboration.
