Job summary

This role requires a PhD with 5+ years in pharma/biotech CMC/cGMP, strong project leadership, and ability to travel up to 50% to support global programs.

Qualifications

• Doctorate (PhD) in Chemical Engineering, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Pharmaceutics, Pharmaceutical Science, or related scientific discipline plus 5 years of industry experience in a pharmaceutical or biotechnology CMC/cGMP environment.
• Oversight of US and international contract manufacturing organizations for the manufacture of cGMP drug substances; experience with IND/IMPD/NDA/MAA filings.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for regulatory starting materials (RSMs) and Drug Substance (DS) cGMP manufacturing activities, including scale‑up for candidate development and clinical programs.
• Lead CMOs selection and management; ensure DS quality meets regulatory standards and supports NDA/MAA filings.
