Job summary

Capital One seeks a Senior Associate in Audit Operations and Reporting to drive data-powered assurance and cross-functional collaboration within Internal Audit. You will design department-wide processes, provide management reporting, and partner with audit teams and executives to deliver value and insights.

You will leverage data analytics, maintain data quality, monitor changes in the business environment, and support system enhancements to improve efficiency and accuracy across audits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or military experience.
• At least 2 years of experience in auditing, accounting, risk management, data analytics or a combination.
• Professional certification such as CIA, CPA, or CISA is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute internal operational processes and department wide deliverables and initiatives in areas such as Annual Audit Planning, Audit Risk Assessment, Continuous Monitoring, Skills Assessment and Audit Issues Management.
• Utilize internal systems, data repositories and analytical tools to produce management and operational reporting on large datasets with data quality and integrity.
• Monitor changes to the business environment for impacts to initiatives and dynamic updates to Audit Universe and Plan.
• Maintain Audit systems and drive enhancements for simplicity, automation and efficiency.
• Develop strong working relationships with key business partners and the extended Audit group.
• Prepare departmental and board deliverables and communicate results to stakeholders.
