Job summary

Capital One is seeking a Senior Auditor to join its Internal Audit team, focusing on Bank & Support Functions within the Retail Bank line of business. You will conduct operational, financial, and compliance audits across digital banking, branches, cash management, contact center, and small business banking.

You will apply data analytics, challenge assumptions, and build trusted relationships with management while delivering value-added audit opinions and recommendations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or military experience.
• At least 2 years of auditing, accounting, or related experience.
• Professional certifications such as CIA/CPA/CRCM/CISA/CBA or banking experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess risk of business activities and materiality, design and perform audit procedures.
• Test internal controls for moderately complex operations.
• Plan and execute audit tasks with demonstrated expertise.
• Utilize data and analytics throughout audit delivery.
• Establish and maintain strong client relations during engagements.
• Summarize audit results to management via reports and presentations.
