Job summary

val's services seeks an information security professional to analyze complex enterprise environments within the U.S. Federal government sector. You will interact with senior client executives and technical teams to drive strategic improvements in data security, privacy, and business continuity.

Design and support policies aligned with FISMA and NIST, and help architect, configure, and deploy security tools across Cloud, IAM, and IT-GRC platforms. Travel may be required; a U.S.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years of cybersecurity experience.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, CAP, CEH, or CISA.
• Functional certifications in AWS, Azure, ServiceNow, or Salesforce preferred.

Responsibilities include engaging with high-level client executives and technical teams to implement strategic improvements in data security, privacy, and business continuity.

Designing and supporting the development of policies and procedures aligned with regulations like FISMA and NIST, and assisting with the architecture, configuration, and deployment of security tools such as Cloud, IAM, and IT-GRC platforms.

Managing projects related to cybersecurity technology and process implementations, including security architecture, cloud security, DevSecOps, risk assessments, incident response, RMF, penetration testing, and vendor risk management.

Qualifications include a minimum of three years of cybersecurity experience, a bachelor's degree, and relevant certifications like CISSP, CCSP, CAP, CEH, or CISA.

Functional certifications in AWS, Azure, ServiceNow, Salesforce, or similar platforms are preferred.

Must possess a U.S. Government Secret clearance and have the ability to travel as needed.
