Role Overview: The Lead Specialist in federal advisory focuses on designing, developing, and deploying secure multi-cloud and hybrid environments aligned with Zero Trust principles and federal regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead architecture efforts ensuring security and compliance with frameworks like NIST RMF, CMMC, and FedRAMP.
• Provide subject matter expertise on cybersecurity regulations and best practices.
• Mentor and lead a team of cybersecurity and cloud engineers.
• Offer hands‑on guidance in infrastructure, enterprise networking, virtualization, and containerization technologies (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker).
• Collaborate directly with senior federal clients to translate mission needs into scalable, resilient technical solutions.
• Communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.

Qualifications & Skills

• Minimum five years in systems engineering, cybersecurity, or enterprise architecture; federal government experience preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred.
• Experience with Identity, Credential, and Access Management (ICAM) solutions; certifications like Okta, Sailpoint, Ping, or CyberArk advantageous.
• Deep knowledge of Microsoft Azure, security controls, and government‑specific cloud environments.
• Hands‑on expertise in Zero Trust technologies such as SASE, micro‑segmentation, and software‑defined networking.
• Experience with large‑scale container orchestration and virtualized data centers.
• Must hold a U.S. Government Secret clearance and be willing to travel as needed.
