Cerity Partners in New York is seeking a Senior Associate, Client & Custodian Data Management to support custodian operations and lead merger and acquisition migration projects. Reporting to the Principal of Custodian and Client Data Management, the role is ideal for someone who thinks in systems, is technically fluent, and can represent the team to stakeholders across the firm.

Qualifications

• Strong presentation and communication skills for leading calls and trainings.
• Proven ability to independently manage cross-functional projects with multiple stakeholders.
• Curiosity to understand end-to-end operations and improve processes.
• Systems thinking to trace data flows across custodian-to-reporting ecosystems.
• Technology aptitude to quickly learn new platforms and tools.
• Excellent problem-solving and listening skills to identify true needs.
• Self-starter who researches questions before proposing solutions.
• Experience with Schwab, Fidelity, and/or Pershing is a plus; Orion/Addepar is an asset.
• Highly organized with ability to manage multiple concurrent projects.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary contact on migration projects, onboarding acquired teams onto custodial and data infrastructure.
• Lead project calls from initiation to completion and step in when needed.
• Manage cross-functional projects with competing priorities and deadlines.
• Oversee day-to-day custodian operations across Schwab, Fidelity, Pershing, and other platforms.
• Govern custodian user permissions, onboarding, offboarding, and access entitlements.
• Navigate complex account types and opening workflows with SMA managers and trusts.
• Understand downstream impacts on Orion and Salesforce and other systems.
• Diagnose data feed issues between custodians and reporting systems.
• Collaborate with Compliance, Operations, and Advisor Services to resolve migrations.
