Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in accounting is required.
• 1-3 years of public accounting and/or financial accounting/reporting experience preferred.
• Proficient with MS Office products including advanced Excel skills.
• Experience with implementation of AI and other automation tools.
• Experience within or understanding of midstream oil and gas industry is preferred.
• Oracle experience is a plus.
• Cleared criminal history and satisfactory reference checks.
• Compliance with drug and alcohol policy including pre-employment D&A testing.

Responsibilities

• Preparation and self-review of journal entries.
• Analysis of operational financial data to ensure accurate accounting.
• Account reconciliation package compilation, review, and tie-out.
• Perform monthly inventory accounting.
• Special projects as needed.
• Process improvement evaluation and implementation.
• Supporting financial reporting, tax and internal/external auditors.
