Job summary

Inland Empire Health Plans seeks an experienced Associate Counsel to support its Legal Department with legal research and strategic advice across operational, compliance, and regulatory matters.

The role partners with multiple departments to understand business issues, provide practical recommendations, and ensure timely, business-friendly legal guidance in a complex healthcare environment.

Qualifications

• Five plus (5+) years or more of legal practice or in-house experience as an attorney required.
• Experience with HIPAA HITECH regulations and Federal and California privacy laws and regulations.
• Litigation experience is strongly preferred.
• Prior in-house experience in a public entity, managed care organization or health system is ideal.
