You will guide test development, validation, and implementation, while mentoring staff and contributing to translational research and education across the division.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. or M.D. in biochemistry or related field.
• Board-certified or board-eligible in Clinical Chemistry and/or Clinical Pathology.
• Demonstrated expertise in clinical chemistry and advanced analytical techniques.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements for clinical laboratory testing
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage and partner with teams of scientists and other healthcare professionals

Responsibilities

• Oversee endocrine testing in Clinical Mass Spectrometry and Immunoassay Laboratories.
• Provide clinical and technical oversight of test development, validation, and implementation.
• Support day-to-day laboratory operations including monitoring assay performance.
• Educate and mentor laboratory staff, fellows, and trainees; contribute to translational research.
