Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in chemistry or a biological science is required.
• Experience with operation and troubleshooting of laboratory instrumentation and assay systems is desirable.
• Good communication skills and ability to work closely with others; flexibility with scheduling, off-shifts, holidays, on-call, and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Performs analyses to aid health care providers in diagnosis, prognosis, and treatment.
• Maintains and optimizes testing capabilities; operates and troubleshoots instruments.
• Works with multiple computer systems to retrieve information and report results; may assist with specimen collection.
