The Senior Associate role sits in the Restaurant, Franchise and Hospitality CAS practice, focusing on monthly accounting and client services. You will review and prepare complex client work, mentor staff, and help drive client service quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred in accounting, business, economics or finance.
• 2-4 years’ accounting or tax experience is desirable.
• Experience with financial statement preparation is expected.

Responsibilities

• Prepare/write up full monthly work for complex clients.
• Review monthly work by Associates and Seniors.
• Assist with monthly prep and provide feedback.
• Ensure work flows with minimal edits.
• Assist with staff training and development.
• Manage increased client responsibility and delegation.
• Communicate with team to obtain missing items.
• Calculate and analyze financial ratios.
• Engage with clients to begin relationships and understand priorities.
• Work independently with minimal review.

Join Aprio's Restaurant, Franchise, and Hospitality Client Accounting Servies (CAS) team and you will help clients maximize their opportunities. Aprio Advisory Group, LLC is a progressive, fast-growing firm looking for a Senior Associate to join their dynamic team.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare/write up full monthly work for more complex clients
• Review monthly work prepared by Associates and other Seniors
• Assist with monthly prep as needed and provide quality feedback
• Confirm work is flowing through Associates and Seniors with minimal edits
• Assist with training and development of Staff and Seniors
• Increased client responsibility
• Delegate tasks appropriately
• Communicate with team members for missing items for monthly work
• Calculate and analyze financial ratios
• Begin client relationship
• Review financial ratios
• Start to work independently with minimal review on work performed
• Understand priorities and communicate those priorities effectively
• Ability to meet budget and realization goals for both for clients and team

Qualifications:

• 2-4 Years’ experience in accounting or tax
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred (accounting, business, economics, finance, etc.)
• Experience with financial statement preparation
• Experience in Restaurant or Hospitality industry preferred
• Experience with Sage Intacct or Restaurant365 preferred
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work well in a team environment

• Demonstrate excellent analytical and problem solving skills
• Ability to handle more than one project / task at a time
• Exceptional Communication and Writing Skills internally and externally
