Job summary

TYG partners with a well-established consulting firm seeking a Senior Associate to join their Southeast team. This client-facing role offers exposure to building assessments, technical due diligence, project advisory services, forensic investigations, and capital planning across a diverse portfolio of commercial properties.

Ideal candidates will serve as trusted advisors, conduct site visits, review drawings and reports, prepare client-facing findings, and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams

Qualifications

• Degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, Building Science, or related discipline.
• Professional registration or licensure preferred.
• Experience in consulting, design, construction, property assessments, forensic investigations, owner's representation, or related technical advisory services.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a trusted advisor to clients throughout various stages of the asset lifecycle.
• Conduct site visits, field investigations, and property evaluations.
• Support technical assessments related to existing buildings, asset performance, and project risk.
• Participate in forensic investigations involving building systems, construction issues, defects, failures, or performance concerns.
• Review drawings, specifications, reports, contracts, budgets, and other project documentation.
• Prepare client-facing reports, findings, and recommendations.
• Coordinate with project teams, consultants, contractors, and ownership groups.
• Assist clients in understanding building conditions, potential liabilities, deferred maintenance considerations, and capital expenditure requirements.
• Manage multiple assignments while maintaining quality and responsiveness.
