Job summary

TYG, a leading global consultancy, is seeking a Director to join its Disputes and Advisory group in the United States. This leadership role offers the opportunity to shape a high-performing team and drive expansion of the firm’s regional presence.

You will lead advisory and expert services in construction disputes, oversee claims strategy, and build long-term client relationships while contributing to winning new work.

Qualifications

• Strong background in construction disputes and advisory work, particularly in delay and/or quantum.
• Proven track record in leading expert appointments or supporting expert work.
• Excellent client-facing and communication skills.
• Ability to contribute to business development and bring a book of business.
• Prior experience in a consultancy or expert witness environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team delivering advisory and expert services in construction disputes, focusing on delay and cost issues.
• Oversee the preparation, strategy, and presentation of claims for clients across major infrastructure and commercial projects.
• Provide expert input and strategic guidance on complex project disputes.
• Act as a key point of contact for clients, building long-term relationships and supporting business development efforts.
• Contribute to expanding the firm’s footprint in the region, including winning new work.
