Job summary

The Voleon Group is seeking a Senior Associate to strengthen governance, risk, and compliance within the Legal and Compliance organization. You will work across Operational Risk, Internal Audit, and Legal to translate controls into clear business language for leadership, auditors, and investors.

You will partner with business, operational, and compliance stakeholders in a fast-paced environment, supporting policy development, remediation tracking, and third-party risk management.

Qualifications

• 2-5+ years of experience in audit, risk, or compliance with meaningful GRC depth
• Demonstrated ability to write policies grounded in technical reality
• Experience maturing a governance, risk and compliance program
• Familiarity with risk assessment methodologies (COSO, or equivalent)
• Experience interfacing with risk, audit, legal and compliance functions
• Strong understanding of compliance and operational processes and controls
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Experience with vendor risk management and third-party due diligence questionnaires
• Self-directed and autonomous – individual contributor to start

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the risk universe, program and plan
• Document risk processes, procedures, and operational workflows
• Assist with gaps, ownership, remediation tracking and closure
• Plan and execute scoped audits with oversight
• Coordinate SOC project and audit materials
• Develop and document audit processes and controls
• Support compliance policy lifecycle and enforcement
