The Voleon Group in New York is seeking a Senior Associate – Audit, Compliance & Operational Risk to strengthen governance, risk, and compliance within the Legal and Compliance organization. You will translate complex controls into clear business language for leadership and investors.

This hybrid role offers three days in our New York office and opportunities to work with cross-functional teams across trading, operations, and research, building policy lifecycle and risk assessments.

Competenze

• 2-5+ years of experience in audit, risk, or compliance with meaningful GRC depth — not pure audit/compliance.
• Demonstrated ability to write policies grounded in technical reality.
• Experience maturing a governance, risk and compliance program: risk registers, risk assessments, control mapping, remediation tracking.
• Familiarity with COSO or equivalent risk frameworks.
• Experience interfacing with operational risk, internal audit, legal, and compliance functions.

Mansioni

• Contribute to risk universe, program and plan; document risk processes and controls.
• Plan and execute scoped audits with oversight: scoping, walkthroughs, testing, remediation follow-up.
• Assist with compliance policy lifecycle: creation, reviews, updates and enforcement.
• Document governance processes and build institutional knowledge base.
