Segal McCambridge, a litigation firm, is seeking a Senior Associate Attorney to join our New York office, handling NYS Labor Law and Construction accident matters. This is an excellent opportunity for attorneys looking to hone their litigation skills in a collegial environment. The successful candidate will work on a variety of matters, enjoy autonomy, and benefit from a team environment with training and mentorship from experienced partners. This is a hybrid position, with a flexible mix of remote and in-office work.

We seek candidates with:

• Current, active license to practice law in New York. Dual licensure with PA and/or NJ or other jurisdictions is a plus;
• Minimum of 4 years experience handling NYS Labor Law 240, 241 matters, and other construction-related claims;
• Civil defense litigation experience, including drafting pleadings, discovery, motions, legal research, depositions, and client reporting;
• Excellent legal research, writing, and advocacy skills;
• Ability to multitask and meet deadlines;
• Strong interpersonal and presentation skills;
• Proven ability to analyze complex legal issues and produce high-quality work;
• A proactive approach and ownership of projects;
• Experience with mediations, arbitrations, or trials is desirable.
