Job summary

Lorber, Greenfield & Olsen, LLP seeks a Senior Associate Attorney for our Tacoma, WA litigation team. You will handle substantive work from day one, with responsibility and direct access to firm partners. Draft and argue motions, depose witnesses, and represent clients in trial, arbitration, and mediation.

We value independent initiative and collaboration, with flexible onsite/remote/hybrid work options. A strong WA Bar credential and 5+ years in civil litigation are expected.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of civil litigation experience
• Proven track record drafting and arguing motions
• Confidence navigating the Washington court system
• Skilled at depositions and witness examinations
• Excellent written and verbal communication — clarity in complex matters
• Strong analytical instincts with sound judgment
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
• Active member of the Washington State Bar
• Construction or casualty claims experience is a plus

Responsibilities

• Draft and file motions, pleadings, and discovery with precision and persuasion
• Represent clients in trials, arbitrations, depositions, and mediations
• Keep clients and insurers informed and confident throughout the process
• Deliver sound legal advice grounded in real litigation experience
• Own your docket—manage day-to-day litigation tasks and meet billable targets
