Job summary

Aldridge Pite, LLP is seeking a Senior Associate Attorney to join its California Foreclosure Trustee Litigation Department. You will primarily manage defensive litigation related to foreclosure trustees and oversee cases from inception to completion.

The role requires CA bar admission, 5–10 years of law practice (preferably in litigation, real estate or mortgage law), and strong written and verbal communication. Remote work options are available along with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Five to ten years of experience in the practice of law, preferably litigation, real estate or mortgage law.
• Bachelor's Degree and Juris Doctor from an accredited law school.
• Admission to practice in California; Utah admission preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Purpose:

The Senior Associate Attorney will work in our firm’s California Foreclosure Trustee Litigation Department, and will primarily manage defensive litigation work related to foreclosure trustees.

Specific Duties & Responsibilities:

• Manage cases from inception to completion
• Prepare analysis of case and advise client regarding strategies
• Draft court pleadings, defense of motions
• Handle discovery
• Attend court hearings, both telephonic and in person
• Other duties and special projects as needed

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree
• Juris Doctor from accredited law school
• Five to Ten years of experience in the practice of law, preferably litigation, real estate or mortgage law
• Admission to practice law in the state of California. Admission to practice law in the state of Utah preferred but not required.
• Must have excellent communication skills both verbal and written
• Must be proficient in software tools including but not limited to Word, Excel, Outlook and the Internet
• Ability to manage and prioritize your caseload
