Job summary

GG Advisors in Leawood, Kansas is seeking an accounting professional to own client portfolios, lead client calls, and deliver accurate financial statements. You will manage month-end close for assigned clients, provide actionable insights, and support onboarding and process improvements in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of accounting experience.
• Experience with Microsoft Office.
• Proficiency with accounting software.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to manage multiple client deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Owning an assigned portfolio of clients, including day-to-day communication and accounting deliverables.
• Leading client calls to answer questions, explain results, and offer practical insights.
• Financial statement preparation and review.
• Owning the month-end close process for assigned clients.
• Providing guidance on financial best practices and helping clients optimize their operations.
• Assisting with new client onboarding.
• Giving guidance and mentorship to junior staff.
• Assisting with internal projects, process improvements, and operational tasks.
