Job summary

Quinlan Partners in New York seeks an experienced Senior Associate to join our due diligence and investigations team. You will conduct public record and open‑source research, analyze filings, and draft client‑ready reports for senior management.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree and at least three years of investigations experience, with strong written and verbal communication and the ability to manage multiple deadlines while mentoring junior investigators.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in English, history, journalism, political science, international relations/affairs, or related fields.
  • Minimum of 3 years professional experience in corporate investigations, investigative or business journalism, or related fields.
  • Exceptional public record and open source research skills.
  • Prior experience conducting an array of investigations, including business intelligence, deep-dive due diligence, and complex litigation support-related investigations.
  • Demonstrated track record of success at obtaining, analyzing, and distilling information gathered as part of investigations into potential wrongdoing or in answering complex questions posed by corporate, investment, and legal decision-makers.
  • Fluency in a second language is a plus but not required.

  • Conduct in-depth public record and open source investigations into people and companies by navigating investigative databases and public record sources in the U.S. and around the world.
  • Analyze court filings, recorded documents, financial disclosures, corporate records and news reports, among other sources of information in the U.S and around the world.
  • Draft and edit client-ready investigative reports, and brief senior management and clients on findings from investigations.
  • Train, mentor, and manage junior investigators on public record and open-source research.
  • Execute deadline-driven research projects within corresponding budgets, including efficiently managing time and juggling multiple assignments and deadlines.

Quinlan Partners is a global due diligence, investigations, and business intelligence firm that helps clients identify and mitigate risk, shape strategy, and achieve success. We are seeking an inquisitive, highly motivated and experienced investigator to join our team in New York as a Senior Associate.

The Senior Associate we're looking for brings a dogged work ethic, excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong attention to detail and intellectual curiosity, and the ability to collaborate with a team while simultaneously managing and executing multiple deadline-driven projects.

What You Will Do
