Job summary

Ingersoll Rand is seeking an Assistant Treasurer to optimize global liquidity, manage financial risk, and support capital allocation for growth initiatives, including acquisitions. This role partners with executives and functional teams to ensure robust funding strategies and strong treasury governance.

The successful candidate will lead capital structure analysis, debt portfolio management, and currency risk management while driving process improvements and enterprise-wide collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, economics required.
• MBA preferred for senior leadership role.
• Experience in corporate treasury and capital markets is essential.

Responsibilities

• Mentor and develop treasury team members.
• Serve as Treasury leadership representative on cross-functional initiatives.
• Support executive capital allocation discussions with the CEO and CFO; analyze growth vs return of capital.
• Evaluate improvements to capital structure and weighted average cost of capital (WACC).
• Lead debt portfolio analysis and provide funding strategy recommendations.
• Participate in rating agency and debt investor engagements.
• Lead Global Treasury cash management operations, bank account management, forecasting and investing of excess cash.
• Lead global sources and uses analysis to determine funding levels by country and repatriation of funds to the US.
• Lead global trade finance activities coordinating with regional leads.
• Lead Global FX risk management strategy, reporting, hedge execution, operations and compliance.
• Lead Global Treasury M&A diligence and integration for pre-close, closing and post close.
• Drive treasury process improvement and automation initiatives.
• Build and maintain key banking relationships globally.
