Spencer Gifts – Spirit Halloween is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Peabody, MA to oversee guest services and to assist the Store Manager in daily operations.

You will help drive sales and profitability by developing staff, controlling expenses and shrinkage, and ensuring effective merchandising and inventory control in line with company policies. Prior retail/management experience and 18+ age are required; up to 38 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Prior retail and/or management experience is required.
• Minimum age 18.
• Physical demands include standing, walking, climbing ladders and lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Up to 38 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain Guest Services.
• Support the Store Manager in daily operations to maximize sales and profitability.
• Develop staff, control expenses and shrinkage, and ensure merchandising and inventory control per company policies.
