CEC Entertainment in Michigan is seeking a Senior Assistant Manager to lead restaurant operations, ensure resources and training for staff, and uphold company standards.

You will make daily scheduling decisions, build sales, recruit and coach the team, and maintain guest satisfaction while ensuring safety. This role requires strong leadership, hands-on supervision, and adherence to brand policies; equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

Commission Detail

• Exempt: Commission potential from $0.50 to $10.00 for each Membership you sell, and from $0.15 to $3.00 for each Fun Pass you sell! Paid out bi‑weekly (unless state law requires otherwise).
• Non‑Exempt: Commission potential from $2.00 to $8.00 for each Membership you sell, and from $0.60 to $2.40 for each Fun Pass you sell! Paid out bi‑weekly (unless state law requires otherwise).

Job Description

As a Senior Assistant Manager, you’ll manage the restaurant, ensure staff have the resources, training, and motivation to keep guests happy, and uphold company standards.

Job Responsibilities

• Build sales and maximize profits by effectively recruiting, training, developing, and communicating company and guest expectations to the entire team.

• Exercise good business skills and judgment in cost control procedures, financial accounting, inventory levels, and labor management.

Minimum Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age or older (RVP approval may allow for hiring at the age permitted by local law for selling, ringing up, checking identification, and serving alcohol).
• Must have a high‑school diploma or GED. College degree preferred.
• Minimum of two (2) years previous management experience preferably in the food service industry or a proven track record as a CEC Assistant Manager.

Essential Job Functions and Work Environment

• Must be able to lift or carry objects weighing 0-50 pounds during scheduled shift.
• Must be able to stand, bend, kneel, reach, push/pull, walk, and squat during scheduled shift.
• Work environment includes flashing and flickering lights, moving mechanical parts, loud noise, and exposure to non‑weather related wet, humid, extreme heat, and extreme cold conditions.
