Job summary

Ceco Concrete Construction, Tampa, FL, is seeking an Assistant Project Manager III to lead day-to-day operations on complex concrete projects. The role supports schedule, budget, subcontractor coordination, and quality control, working with project managers and superintendents to drive project success and mentor junior staff.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in construction support roles, strong communication, and a proactive approach to solving issues.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Associate degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field with at least 3 years supporting similar responsibilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with all levels of the organization, customers and vendors.
• Detail oriented with ability to analyze plan layouts, material deliveries and jobsite productivity.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Advanced knowledge of safety and OSHA requirements and regulations.
• Ability to travel and work extended periods on projects outside of the office.

Responsibilities

• Supports planning and implementation of concrete frame and formwork projects.
• Performs jobsite inspections/audits of shoring, rebar/pt installation, safety, and quality.
• Collaborates with Project Manager on productivity, costs, quality and safety.
• Assists in managing projects with local team to deliver concrete solutions.
• Develops and maintains customer relationships to procure projects and manage risk.
• Monitors safety and quality on the project.
• Leads development of material and equipment schedules and promotes efficient use.
• Supports coordination of subcontractor and vendor contracts and processes.
• May assume role of Project Manager for smaller projects.
• Performs special projects and other duties as assigned.
