Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience with strong GL, close, reconciliation, and financial reporting.
• Leadership experience in managing accounting personnel or teams.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, internal controls, and financial statement preparation.
• Advanced Excel skills and ability to analyze complex financial data.
• Experience with ERP systems and month-end close processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities with calendars, journals, accruals, and reconciliations.
• Review and ensure accuracy of journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Oversee GL activity including cash, prepaid expenses, fixed assets, leases, and payroll-related entries.
• Coordinate preparation of financial statements and management reporting.
• Support audit, tax, and regulatory requirements with complete documentation.
