Mountain State Oral & Facial Surgery in the United States (West Virginia) seeks an Assistant Corporate Controller to oversee all accounting and financial operations, ensuring accurate GAAP reporting and risk management. The role partners with the Controller to lead a team of accounting professionals and work closely with operations and marketing.

The candidate will hold a Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance, with CPA or MBA preferred, and 8+ years of progressive accounting experience,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• CPA or MBA or advanced degree preferred.
• 8+ years of progressive accounting or financial management experience.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and internal controls.
• Experience with multi-entity organizations and inter-company transactions.

Responsibilities

• Oversee accounting function including general ledger, AP/AR, payroll, and tax compliance.
• Ensure timely, GAAP-compliant financial reporting.
• Prepare monthly/quarterly/annual financial statements.
• Develop policies, procedures, and internal controls to safeguard assets.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis for strategy.
• Assist with audits and collaboration with external auditors.
• Support tax planning with CPA firm and regulatory compliance.
• Assist with M&A due diligence and post-acquisition reporting.
• Support treasury with cash flow management.
