Job summary

My Ideal Recruiter is seeking a talented finance leader to own the close cycle and lead accounting operations. You’ll manage the monthly, quarterly, and annual close, ensuring GAAP-compliant statements and clean general ledger practices.

This role reports to the Controller and provides hands-on leadership across multiple entities. You will drive internal controls, support budgeting and forecasting, and partner with auditors to maintain compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• 7+ years of accounting experience, including supervisory responsibilities.
• Direct exposure to annual audit and tax compliance.
• Strong GAAP knowledge, reconciliations, and internal controls.
• Experience working across multiple entities or locations.

Responsibilities

• Drive monthly, quarterly, and annual close so timelines are met and accurate.
• Prepare and review GAAP-compliant financial statements.
• Maintain clean general ledger and timely reconciliations.
• Oversee AP, fixed assets, payroll, cash, and intercompany activity.
• Serve as main liaison during audits and manage auditor relations.
