Job summary

Qualifications

• 7+ years in commercial loan workout or asset recovery with C&I/ABL focus.
• 5-7 years underwriting experience with asset-backed structures and UCC-1 filings.
• Deep understanding of commercial cash flow, trade finance, and working capital cycles.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end asset recovery efforts for distressed credits, including restructure, settlement, liquidation, or exit.
• Analyze borrower/guarantor finances and recommend risk actions and loss recognition.
• Negotiate forbearance, borrowing base adjustments, and accelerated repayment plans.
• Direct collateral evaluation and liquidation of non-real estate assets.
• Coordinate with Legal, Credit/Policy, and Compliance to ensure compliant workouts.
• Provide portfolio reporting to senior leadership and mentor junior staff.
