24 Seven Talent is seeking a Senior Product Manager for Asset Management in Boston. This role partners with Portfolio Management, Investment Performance, Risk, and Operations teams to drive requirements and platform enhancements across investment management systems.

The ideal candidate has deep asset management expertise, strong product ownership experience, and hands-on SQL, Agile delivery, and cross-functional collaboration skills to translate complex workflows into actionable user stories and

Qualifications

5+ years of Product Management or related experience within Asset Management.
Deep understanding of investment performance, attribution, benchmark construction, portfolio analytics, portfolio accounting, investment operations, or investment risk functions.
Experience supporting systems and workflows used by Portfolio Management, Performance Measurement, Risk, or Investment Operations teams.
Strong understanding of front, middle, and back-office investment management processes.
Working knowledge of financial instruments including equities, fixed income, ETFs, mutual funds, derivatives, and alternative investments.
Experience gathering requirements, managing stakeholders, and driving delivery across cross-functional teams.
Strong Agile delivery experience, including backlog ownership, prioritization, and sprint planning.
Hands-on SQL experience supporting data analysis, validation, reconciliation, and troubleshooting activities.
Excellent communication skills bridging business and technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Partner with Portfolio Managers, Investment Performance teams, Risk teams, and Investment Operations stakeholders to define business requirements and strategic priorities.
Lead requirements gathering sessions and stakeholder workshops across front, middle, and back-office functions within the investment management organization.
Translate complex investment management workflows into user stories, acceptance criteria, functional specifications, and process documentation.
Own and manage product backlogs, ensuring priorities are aligned with business objectives, delivery timelines, and platform roadmaps.
Drive enhancements across investment performance measurement, attribution, benchmark management, portfolio accounting, and investment reporting platforms.
Facilitate Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement, retrospectives, and stakeholder reviews.
Coordinate delivery efforts across engineering, data, analytics, and quality assurance teams while managing dependencies and risks.
Utilize SQL to support data validation, reconciliation, troubleshooting, and analytical initiatives related to investment and benchmark data.
Support reporting and business intelligence initiatives through collaboration with data and analytics teams.
Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency through automation, process optimization, and AI-enabled delivery practices.
