Job summary

IGNITE seeks an experienced Asset Management Lead to drive on-site DoD asset management at Redstone Arsenal, Huntsville, AL. You will oversee property-book processes, inventory accuracy, barcoding, storage, and lifecycle for government equipment valued in the millions.

The role requires 10+ years in logistics/asset-management, DoD procedures knowledge, and a proven track record in audits and process improvements. Must be available for on-site work and local travel.

Qualifications

• Ten+ years in distribution/IT asset-management at senior/lead level.
• Experience reviewing/testing property-book procedures for DoD IT.
• Leading audits, corrective actions, and process improvements.
• Knowledge of AR 710-1/2/3, AR 735-5, DA PAM 735-5, AR 25-1, AR 71-32.
• Ability to perform on-site touch labor and travel locally.

Responsibilities

• Lead on-site IT asset-management and accountable-property operations for Hand Receipt Holder.
• Maintain complete, accurate, timely records in ASTS, DPAS, and DoD systems.
• Receive equipment, verify deliveries, barcode assets, store property, document custody changes.
• Prepare and control docs for new items, transfers, turnover, disposal, archived records.
• Manage all equipment above thresholds; ensure IT equipment tracked.
• Plan monthly sensitive-item inventories and quarterly/annual inventories as required.
• Conduct internal audits, investigate discrepancies, and support liability processes.
• Develop asset SOPs, metrics, dashboards, and training.
• Coordinate lifecycle, repair, warranty, EOL, and configuration data with support teams.
• Lead asset personnel, assign work, ensure coverage on-site.
