Job summary

JPMorgan Chase is seeking a Lead Credit Officer in Asset Based Lending Credit Risk to manage a portfolio of ABL clients, perform due diligence, and lead credit structuring and negotiations. The role requires deep knowledge of asset-based lending, capital markets, and risk management in a fast-paced banking environment.

The incumbent will collaborate across departments, challenge banking teams, and mentor junior staff while ensuring regulatory compliance and robust credit files.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' experience in commercial banking, credit risk, and portfolio management with Asset Based Lending financing knowledge.
• Bachelor's degree required; strong understanding of capital markets, financing structures, derivatives and cash management products.

Responsibilities

• Manage portfolio of ABL clients, monitor financial performance trends and covenant compliance.
• Perform due diligence for loans, derivatives, leases, and cash management including financial modeling and field exams.
• Assign and assess internal ratings, risk and mitigation; recommend changes in structure or strategy.
• Interpret collateral appraisals and field exams; monitor liquidity and establish reserves.
