Job summary

First Citizens Bank in Raleigh, NC seeks a senior asset allocation professional within the Capital Management Group to drive quantitative and fundamental research for capital market assumptions and multi-asset portfolio construction.

You will mentor investment professionals, support investment committees, and communicate CMG views to wealth partners and clients, contributing to governance and policy adherence across the department.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree and 6 years' experience in Asset allocation, investment research, portfolio construction, or related investment analysis
• OR High School Diploma or GED/Equivalent and 10 years' experience in Asset allocation, investment research, portfolio construction, or related investment analysis
• Preferred Area of Study: Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Economics, or related quantitative discipline
• Preferred Licenses or Certifications: Advanced degree and/or CFA Charterholder

Responsibilities

• Asset Allocation Research: conducts quantitative and fundamental research supporting capital market expectations, strategic asset allocation decisions, and portfolio construction
• Performance Reporting & Attribution: produces daily, monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc performance reporting, attribution analysis, and investment communications
• Business Support: partners with wealth advisors, institutional partners, and other business units to deliver custom asset allocation analysis and portfolio recommendations
• Portfolio & Model Management: maintains asset allocation models, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and adherence to policies
• Governance & Compliance Support: supports investment committee activities, model governance, and regulatory compliance processes
