Job summary

Pearson is seeking an Advanced Specialist, Content Implementation to drive end-to-end item and test development for large-scale K–12 statewide programs. You will lead content design, coordinate multi-team efforts, and ensure high-quality specifications across paper and online modalities.

In this role you’ll provide client-facing leadership, manage schedules and budgets, and leverage AI tools to enhance asset creation while maintaining compliance. Occasional travel is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
• 5+ years in educational testing and assessment, including client-facing work.
• Experience with item/test development for statewide K–12 assessments.
• Knowledge of psychometric principles; ability to travel.

Responsibilities

• Lead assessment design and content development for statewide programs.
• Coordinate cross-functional work with Psychometrics, Content, and Publishing Services.
• Manage scope, schedules, and budgets for programs, including vendor relations.
• Provide client-facing leadership and oversight of content development.
