Job summary

Pearson is seeking an Advanced Specialist, Content Implementation to drive end-to-end item and test development for large-scale K–12 statewide assessments. You will serve as the primary client-facing leader for content development and coordinate with Psychometrics, Content, Publishing Services, Program Delivery, and Finance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in educational testing and assessment with client-facing work.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams in content development and delivery.
• Knowledge of item and test development for statewide K–12 assessments.
• Familiarity with psychometric principles and assessment design.

Responsibilities

• Lead assessment design, content development, and client consulting for statewide programs.
• Translate standards into item/test specifications and secure client approvals.
• Manage labor and non-salary forecasts and coordinate vendor SOWs.
• Identify risks, develop mitigation plans, and ensure timelines and quality.
• Communicate progress with customers and lead clear escalation paths.
• Coach team members and vendor partners; foster collaboration.
