Job summary

OSW Equipment & Repair, LLC, a subsidiary of Federal Signal Corporation, is seeking an Assembly Technician in Snohomish, WA to safely troubleshoot and install mechanical components on dump trucks and trailers. As an Assembly Technician I or II you will drill holes, bolt parts, run wiring and hoses, zip tie wires, read manuals and blueprints, and perform basic welding or hydraulic work as needed.

Qualifications include a HS diploma or GED, 1+ year mechanical experience, and willingness to learn

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 1+ year mechanical experience with hydraulic repairs including pump valves, cylinders, etc.
• Must be comfortable with electrical trouble shooting.
• Wrenching experience and experience using power tools.
• Able to read service manuals, blueprints, and tape measures.
• Willingness to learn and work well in a team; leadership is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Drill holes in steel frames and bolt on parts.
• Run/Feed electrical wiring and hoses.
• Zip tie wires; take accurate measurements.
• Electric & Hydraulic connections; basic welding.
• Large assembly installation (tanks, saddles, etc.).
• Touch up paint and perform other duties as assigned.
