Job summary

ODRA Road Sweepers in Grand Forks, ND, is seeking an Assembly Technician to join a compact, hands-on team. You will assemble and install mechanical and electronic components in industrial systems, following blueprints, schematics, and work instructions.

Training is provided as you gain skills with tools, hydraulic and electrical subsystems, and safety practices. This full-time, on-site role offers paid training, benefits, and opportunities to grow within a growing company.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Ability to use common shop tools.
• Strong attention to detail and mechanical aptitude.
• Willingness to learn and take direction.
• Overhead crane and forklift training an asset (training provided if needed).
• Experience in hydraulic and electrical systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assemble components and systems according to blueprints, schematics, and work instructions.
• Use hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments to ensure all products are built and tested per documented procedures.
• Inspect parts to ensure they meet company quality standards.
• Assist with the assembly and installation of electronic components in industrial systems.
• Assist with the assembly and installation hydraulic systems.
• Install and wire control modules, electronic sensors, and electrical harnesses.
• Troubleshoot and conduct functional testing of electronic and electrical systems.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.
