Job summary

Cubic Defense is seeking a Senior Engineering Technician to support multiple complex prototype builds and low-rate productions. You will pivot between products, exercise judgment on builds, and provide engineering feedback to improve processes.

The role requires working under general supervision with substantial decision-making authority within project teams and assembly areas. You will assemble, test, and troubleshoot electronic subassemblies, collaborate with program managers and engineers,

Qualifications

• Two-year college degree or equivalent with electronics experience.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Ability to obtain a DoD security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Assembles electronic components and subassemblies, often under microscopes.
• Reads and interprets notes, schematics, parts lists and diagrams.
• Operates and maintains equipment for build, repair and test.
• Coordinates with teammates to resolve problems and schedule work.
• Advices and supports production handoffs to manufacturing teams.
