Job summary

Qualifications

• 5 years of relevant mechanical assembly experience.
• HS Diploma or GED.
• Experience creating prototypes highly desirable.
• Ability to understand mechanical systems and perform assembly tasks with Development Basis information provided.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and design intent.
• Ability to train effectively.
• Ability to communicate effectively with production management and team.
• Broad range of production tasks: mechanical assembly, system testing, packaging.
• Proficiency with Office 365.
• TIG welding, metal fabrication, and/or machining preferred for as-needed operations.

Responsibilities

• Assist with manufacturing prototype assemblies of new products or new revisions.
• Discuss product information with engineers and other personnel to plan layout and determine sequence of operations.
• Assess specifications, drawings, rough sketches, and verbal instructions to plan layout and determine sequence of operations.
