Job summary

CRG Defense, near Dayton, Ohio, is seeking an Electronics Technician with 5+ years of experience to support prototype development, assembly, testing, and low-rate production of electronics, power, and energy systems.

You will assemble and test circuits, interpret schematics, perform PCB rework, and help document build records while working with engineers and production staff in a dynamic lab environment. Strong soldering skills and safety compliance are required.

Qualifications

• Exclusive US citizenship.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
• 5+ years of electronics assembly, test, or repair experience.
• Associate's degree or certified electronics program.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, test, and troubleshoot circuits, PCB assemblies, cables, and subassemblies for prototype and production builds.
• Interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and work instructions to complete tasks accurately.
• Perform manual component-level rework, SMT and through-hole, and board repairs with soldering.
• Assemble electronics, control, and energy storage systems.
• Support engineering in development activities and test setups.
• Operate and maintain electrical test equipment and document results.
• Follow safety, quality, and ESD procedures in a lab and production environment.
• Set up testing apparatus and conduct functional/environmental tests; record results.
• Generate and update build records and test logs.
