Job summary

Beehive Industries, LLC is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer, Assembly (Friday-Sunday) to lead manufacturing engineering for assigned products through the lifecycle. You will own process definitions, support transitions from prototype to production, and collaborate with Design Engineering to ensure producible designs.

The role requires 5+ years in manufacturing engineering, experience with aerospace/defense, and the ability to obtain a U.S. government security clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Aerospace Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years in manufacturing engineering; 3 years with Master’s.
• Experience with NPI, production environments, and aerospace/defense.
• Experience with machining, assembly, additive manufacturing, or welding.
• Leading DFM/DFA and production readiness.
• Problem-solving and cross-functional collaboration.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance; U.S. citizenship required.
• Strong communication skills with technical and operational teams.

Responsibilities

• Own manufacturing engineering execution for products, modules, or components.
• Lead process definition, workflow development, and production readiness.
• Drive DFM/DFA collaboration with Design Engineering teams.
• Support product transitions from prototype to production.
• Develop manufacturing requirements, tooling concepts, and standards.
• Identify and mitigate risks to cost, quality, schedule, and readiness.
• Lead RCAs and corrective actions for manufacturing issues.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance.
• Drive yield, cycle time, throughput, and manufacturability improvements.
• Support APQP, PFMEA, control plans, SPC, and Lean activities.
