Job summary

ABB is seeking an AssemblER III (Andon) to join the production team in Mississippi. The role focuses on troubleshooting and repairing breakers, understanding product operations, and working across all stations to ensure smooth line performance.

You will also interpret tester data, participate in training, record production data daily, and help keep the area clean and safe. This on-site role requires physical endurance and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Stand, bend and walk for extended periods.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Basic computer skills and understanding of manufacturing operations.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities and adapt to changing situations.
• Detail oriented and team oriented.
• Flexible to work overtime with little or no notice.
• Be able to lift to 50 lbs.
• Know all stations of the assembly line.

Responsibilities

• Primarily troubleshoot and repair breakers.
• Understand how the product works, need to be able to work on all stations.
• Understand how the accessories work with the product.
• Know how to turn on and off all equipment.
• Know how to interpret tester data.
• Record tally at the end of the day for red tagged breakers.
• Assist in training of the operators and give feedback on quality issues on the line.
• Record production data issues daily and manage defect tracker.
• Support with trainings of the other employees.
• Perform housekeeping duties throughout the shift and at designated times.
• Able to run all testing equipment.
• Supports Coordinator in keeping the operation moving.
• Other duties as deemed necessary or assigned.
