Job summary

ABB in Senatobia, MS is seeking an Assembly III (Andon) to troubleshoot and repair breakers, understand how the product works, and support operating stations on the line.

You will record data, assist training, and ensure safety and housekeeping throughout shifts. The role requires standing, lifting up to 50 lbs, and flexibility to overtime.

Qualifications

• Stand, bend and walk for extended periods throughout shift.
• Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Basic computer skills and understanding of manufacturing operations.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities and adapt to changing situations.
• Detailed and team oriented.
• Flexible to work overtime with little or no notice.
• Be able to lift to 50lbs.
• Required to know all of the stations of the assembly line.

Responsibilities

• Primarily troubleshoot and repair breakers.

• Understand how the accessories work with the product.
• Know how Turn on and off all equipment.
• Know how to interpret tester data.
• Red tag process at the end of the each shift.
• Record tally at the end of the day for red tagged breakers.
• Assist in training of the operators and give feedback on quality issues on the line.
• Record production data issues daily and manage defect tracker.
• Support with trainings of the other employees.
• Perform housekeeping duties throughout the shift and at designated times.
• Able to run all testing equipment.
• Supports Coordinator in keeping the operation moving.
• Other duties as deemed necessary or assigned.
