Job summary

SMC Corporation in Noblesville, Indiana seeks a Senior Assembler to perform assembly of standard and special products following detailed work instructions. You will verify part numbers, assemble using power tools, and contribute to process improvements.

EPA 608 refrigerant handling certification is required (training provided). You may work in an ISO clean room environment and will participate in testing, inspection, and on-the-job training for teammates. Overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• 2 years of prior experience in assembly or manufacturing.
• OT availability on weekdays/weekends as needed.
• Ability to read/write/speak English and follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Verify part numbers against assembly instructions and orders.
• Assemble standard or special products using power tools and machines.
• Braise: perform metal brazing as required; training provided.
• Handle refrigerants after EPA 608 certification (training provided).
• Test and inspect final product for leaks and conformity to work orders.
• Assist peers, troubleshoot issues, and conduct final quality checks before shipping.
• Adhere to all company policies and safety procedures.
