Job summary

SMC is seeking a Senior Assembler in Noblesville, Indiana to accurately perform tasks according to work instructions for standard and more complex products. The role includes brazing, refrigerant filling (EPA 608), testing, and final inspection, with training provided for certification.

Overtime and teamwork are required to meet production goals. Ideal candidates will have at least 2 years of experience, basic computer skills, and strong attention to detail.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Verify parts by reading and following standard and special SMC blueprints and assembly instructions to ensure correct part numbers.
• Assemble products using power tools and machines for standard or special SMC product within the value stream.
• Brazing for Chiller Assembly and refrigerant filling (EPA 608 certification required; training provided).
• Test and inspect final product for leaks and correct assembly per work order, and label accordingly.
• Assist other assemblers, troubleshoot issues, and perform final check before shipping; follow all company policies and safety procedures.
