Job summary

Zensar is seeking an experienced backend developer to design, develop, and maintain RESTful Web APIs using ASP.NET Core and .NET 8+. You will build scalable services with Minimal APIs, implement EF Core data access, and work with PostgreSQL and MS SQL Server while applying solid OOP and design patterns.

Collaborate with frontend, QA, and DevOps teams, participate in design discussions, and take ownership of modules to deliver high-quality software independently.

Qualifications

• 4 to 7 years of backend development experience with ASP.NET Core Web API.
• Hands-on experience with .NET 8 or later.
• Proficiency in Entity Framework Core.
• Experience working with PostgreSQL and MS SQL Server.
• Strong understanding of OOP concepts and design patterns.
• Experience building APIs using Minimal APIs.
• Good communication skills and ability to work as an individual contributor.
• Nice to have: React.js experience and frontend-backend integration, microservices knowledge, CI/CD and cloud platforms.
